20,000kg Ratchet Straps

Our 20 tonne* ratchet straps offer an extreme-duty solution for highly demanding jobs such as heavy plant transport, rail freight, marine cargo and industrial load restraint. These large, heavy straps are not designed as substitutes for the standard 50mm ratchet lashings that are typically used for general road haulage.

*Please note that '20 tonnes' refers to the minimum breaking force (BFmin) rating of these products, which is 20,000 decanewtons – roughly equivalent to 20,000kg of force. BFmin is the smallest force that will cause a brand new ratchet strap to fail under test conditions. It is NOT the product's lashing capacity or safe working limit. Our 20 tonne ratchet straps (so called because they have a BFmin rating of 20,000daN – roughly equivalent to 20,000kg) are engineered for exceptionally demanding load restraint applications. Wear sleeves and/or corner protectors are recommended to protect the strap's webbing, particularly where it would come into contact with a sharp edge or abrasive surface.
